Restaurant review

Tulus Lotrek, Berlin

Berlin, Forum

"At Tulus Lotrek, you can spend extremely pleasant, cheerful and exciting culinary hours. Max Strohe is authentic, a little crazy, but obviously with a precise plan."

Restaurant Tulus Lotrek, Berlin

"Max Strohe's menu is certainly on a star level. The potential for more is definitely recognisable (e.g. in the quenelles and sweetbreads course). With the exception of the "asparagus soup", his dishes are strongly flavoured, but clearly overdo it with the crustacean hollandaise with the carabinero. You can spend a very pleasant, cheerful and exciting culinary time at "Tulus Lotrek". Max Strohe is authentic, a little crazy, but obviously with a precise plan. We'll see what happens next with this likeable "dive"." (Published in May 2024)

Eichhalde, Freiburg im Breisgau

"The Eichhalde serves Italian cuisine in a way that is very rare in Germany: modern, creative, but based on the traditional flavours and aromas that have reached my heart and at the same time awaken my culinary curiosity with their ideas."
