Aubergine with an offer for young gourmets
STARNBERG. Michelin-starred cuisine is not just about "eating" - it's an experience. Despite the fascination, few people, especially those under 35, dare to tackle the subject. "We want to make it easier for young food enthusiasts to get into haute cuisine," says star chef Maximilian Moser (38) from the Starnberg gourmet restaurant Aubergine. That's why the restaurant is offering gourmets born in 1989 or later an affordable opportunity to discover the creative sophistication of top cuisine and be seduced by its art twice a week from now until 25 July 2024 - without breaking the bank. www.aubergine-starnberg.de/junge-gourmets
The gourmet restaurant Aubergine, the only starred restaurant in Upper Bavaria's Fünfseenland region since 2014, is located in an exclusive extension to the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Starnberg. The team's new offer is aimed at a younger target group: every Wednesday and Thursday between 19 June and 25 July 2024, gourmets born in 1989 or later can enjoy a four-course menu including water and coffee for 99 euros per person as part of the "Young Gourmets" campaign. A greeting from the kitchen is followed by creations made from an hour egg, cauliflower and onion, wolffish with vanilla and fennel and venison with celeriac, medlar and pistachio. For dessert, the kitchen crew led by head chef Maximilian Moser serves an "island of roses" made from vineyard peach and vanilla, which is reminiscent of the listed island in Lake Starnberg not far from the four-star superior hotel. The menu is also available as a vegetarian option on request. Book at aubergine@vier-jahreszeiten-starnberg.de, all information at www.aubergine-starnberg.de
