DRESDEN: Martin Schaumburg is the new Food & Beverage Director at the Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden. With his extensive expertise in upscale gastronomy and the hotel industry worldwide, he will expand the hotel's gastronomic offering and set new accents, the hotel has announced.

Martin Schaumburg has over 15 years of expertise in the international hotel industry and has gained valuable experience during his career at renowned hotels such as the Nassauer Hof in Wiesbaden, Hotel Claridge's in London, Kempinski in China and InterContinental in Hong Kong. With an impressive career that began with an apprenticeship in the kitchen, through to the management of major F&B outlets, particularly in Asia, Martin Schaumburg has now taken over the catering management at the Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden.

Martin Schaumburg has held the position of F&B Director since 1 July 2024 and is responsible for the gastronomic direction of the hotel. In this role, he will lead the teams of the restaurant "Das Palais", the "Amalie - Patisserie & Lounge", the "Bar 1705" and the event area. His vision includes the further development of the gastronomic offer and the promotion of regional, sustainable products, which will further consolidate the Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden as a top culinary destination.

My aim is to spoil the people of Dresden, our regular guests and national and international guests with the first-class service that is typical of the hotel, while at the same time setting new trends," says Martin Schaumburg.
